Arizona Dog Rescue Group
For over two decades, our pet adoption dog rescue group has been helping pets and people find one another. Adopting through PAWS is a life changing experience, guided by caring staff, thoughtful matches, and devoted animals who bring joy to the families they join.
Our next adoption event is on Saturday, October 17 at Petco. This event gives you a great opportunity meet our adoptable dogs in person, learn more about their personalities, and ask questions .
Adoption Events
We host a variety of adoption events across the Phoenix area, often at Petco, community churches, Kiwanis Park, and other community venues.
New Beginnings, Happy Tails
Sometimes, a life is changed simply because someone takes a different road.
Our PAWS friend Nicole, who dedicates her time to rescuing cats, was leaving a friend’s house when she decided to take a different route than usual because of road construction. As she drove along, she noticed something on the sidewalk. At first, she couldn’t even make out what it was. But as she got closer, her heart sank. It was a dog, almost completely hidden beneath a mass of dreadlocks and severely matted fur.
He looked as though he may have spent his entire life struggling to survive on the streets. Read more of his story here.
